We are pleased that you are considering career opportunities at the University of New England. Ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the "Best Universities in the North" in its 2014 edition of “America's Best Colleges," UNE is a great place to work. Our medium size provides a unique environment—we boast both a tight-knit community and access to a wide array of degree programs, research opportunities and cultural events

The University of New England offers students a highly integrated learning experience that promotes excellence through interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in education, research, and service. UNE’s excellence could not happen without a dedicated and talented faculty and professional staff. Thanks to that dedication, over the past 10 years, as one of the fastest growing private universities in the country, UNE has seen its enrollment triple to over 12,000 undergraduate, graduate and professional students. It values student-centered, multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary programs that meet the highest ethical standards to achieve excellence in support of an integrative approach to the liberal arts, health and the environment, as well as scholarship and research.

The University of New England is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. UNE provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. This applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training. All employment related decisions will be made on the basis of individual skills, knowledge, abilities, job performance, and other appropriate qualifications. UNE maintains affirmative action plans for minorities and women and the disabled pursuant to applicable law.

The UNE Community

The University of New England has three distinct campuses that combine to offer students a range of different learning experiences.
